Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The Prize draw is run on a month-on-month basis, for example, if you purchase a WeddingPlan policy during the month of January you will be automatically entered into that month’s prize draw.
  2. The prize draw is open to all customers who have bought a policy with WeddingPlan during any month that the competition is running.
  3. Employees of WeddingPlan and their family members, agencies or anyone connected to WeddingPlan may not be entered into the prize draw.
  4. Entrants into the prize draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  5. To be automatically entered into the prize draw you must purchase a wedding insurance policy from WeddingPlan. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the prize draw, please e-mail us at enquiries@weddingplaninsurance.co.uk with “Prize Draw" in the subject line.
  6. Only the main policyholder will be entered into the competition, entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  7. The closing date of each monthly prize draw is 23:59 on the last day of each month.
  8. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  9. Each winner will be drawn at random, and the draw will take place no later than the 21st day of the following month.
  10. The winner will receive £100 Amazon gift card either by email or by post.
  11. WeddingPlan accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
  12. The winner will be notified by email no later than the 21st day of the following month. Winners must provide confirmation of how they would like to receive their prize, either by post or email. If WeddingPlan does not receive any response from the winner’s notification, a second attempt will be made within 2 weeks of the 1st notification. If the winner does not respond to WeddingPlan within 30 days of the first notification that they have won, the winner's prize will be forfeited and WeddingPlan shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above . The same process for an alternative winner will apply as above. In the event that the second prize winner does not claim their prize, WeddingPlan will cancel that month’s prize draw and the prize will no longer be offered.
  13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
  14. WeddingPlan retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
  15. WeddingPlan shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be found on our website, and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the Prize draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize draw entry.
  16. WeddingPlan accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting the prize. WeddingPlan further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of WeddingPlan for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  17. WeddingPlan reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of WeddingPlan in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  18. WeddingPlan shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  19. The Prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Amazon Gift Card Terms and Conditions

  1. Redemption Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers (including products branded as Gift Certificates) ("Gift Cards") may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products on www.amazon.co.uk. Redemption of Gift Cards on any affiliated website is subject to change in our sole discretion. Purchases are deducted from the redeemer's Gift Card balance. Any unused Gift Card balance will be placed in the redeemer's Amazon.co.uk account. If a purchase exceeds the redeemer's Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. Amazon EU S.à r.l. or its affiliates ("we", "us", and "our") may provide Gift Card purchasers with information about the redemption status of Gift Cards that they purchase. To view your Gift Card balance, visit Your Account on Amazon.co.uk. No fees apply to Gift Cards.
  2. Limitations - Gift Cards, including any unused Gift Card balances, expire ten years from the date of issuance. Gift Cards may not be redeemed for the purchase of products at www.amazon.at, www.amazon.com.br, www.amazon.ca, www.amazon.cn, www.amazon.com, www.amazon.de, www.amazon.es, www.amazon.fr, www.amazon.in, www.amazon.it, www.amazon.co.jp, www.amazon.com.mx, or any other website owned and operated by us, our affiliates, or any other person or entity, except as indicated by these terms and conditions. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, or as payment for a Prime membership fee. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, used for unauthorised commercial purposes, including to facilitate the resale or shipment of goods from Amazon.co.uk, redeemed for cash, or used in a manner otherwise prohibited by our Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards Restrictions and Prohibited Activities policy. Unused Gift Card balances in an Amazon.co.uk account may not be transferred to another Amazon.co.uk account.
  3. Risk of Loss -The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, or our delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.
  4. Fraud - We will have the right to close customer accounts and take payment from alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on Amazon.co.uk or any of its affiliated websites set forth above.
  5. Limitation of Liability - WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. IF APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
  6. General Terms - The Amazon.co.uk Conditions of Use & Sale apply. Gift Cards are issued by Amazon EU S.à r.l., a Luxembourg entity. When you purchase, receive or redeem a Gift Card, you agree that the laws of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg will govern these Gift Card terms and conditions. We reserve the right to require additional verification of your identity, Gift Card or account ownership, or provision of an additional payment instrument, before you are able to apply a Gift Card to your account or your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Balance to a purchase. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
  7. Previously Issued Gift Cards - Gift Cards issued on or after July 1, 2013 may be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products up to ten years from the date of issuance, notwithstanding any stated expiration date. Any Gift Cards issued prior to July 1, 2013 expire in accordance with their stated terms.
